Story Summary
We start with a roommate spat between Cloudy and Marielle, as Cloudy and her friend Letitia have made it a habit of eating Marielle’s meal preps during their smoke sessions. Marielle voices her concern about how much they smoke, requesting for them to keep it quiet while she records a video for work. Letitia arrives, and she and Cloudy indulge in their nightly routine of joints and zany true-crime shows. When the munchies hit, Cloudy makes moves to eat Marielle’s food again, but Marielle catches her in the act, and in revenge, drops their weed down the sink and runs the dish disposal. Letitia returns the favor by punching her in the face and giving her a black eye.
Cloudy and Letitia try to figure out to make money for more weed, and Cloudy comes along a Facebook Marketplace post offering to exchange cash for Pokemon cards. They seek Marielle’s help, as she has a treasure chest of cards in her possession. She agrees to sacrifice some of her cards in exchange for Cloudy’s makeup services on her eye. When they go to the drop-off spot, the weed dealer arrives before the Pokemon dealer (and their cash). Cloudy steps up to stall the weed guy, while Marielle and Letitia deal with a Pokemon dealer who tries to cheat them out of the full price. After Marielle threatens the Pokemon dealer, they grab the cash and arrive to find Cloudy and the weed man are bonding over crochet. The movie ends with the roommates making up, and Marielle joining in on their smoke session.
